Certifications: M.ED School Counseling PK- 12, Special Education General Curriculum PK-12

I am the School Counselor for the Houses of Mudita and Hulya! I have over 18 years of professional experience in the fields of Elementary and Middle School Education specializing in Special Education and School Counseling.  During my educational experiences I have educated students in Hampton and Newport News. 

I am beyond excited to begin my 2nd year at Westside Elementary School!

My primary student focus is on the students’ overall academic, personal, social, and future career needs. The services I look forward in providing follows:

*Small Group Counseling for Social and Emotional Support

*Lunch Bunch with Students 

*Individualized Counseling 

*Parenting Support

I am open to new ideas and opinions. I enjoy having people tell me about their lives, or a problem they are having, and pointing out away of looking at things that they may not have thought of.
