About Mrs. Burnette

Hello! My name is Kasey Burnette, and I am excited to be your child's 4th grade math & history teacher this upcoming school year. I am a proud member of House Duende, the House of Leaders.

 

This will be my 11th year teaching. I have experience teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. Math & Virginia Studies are my favorite content areas.

 

I live in nearby Suffolk with my husband, our two dogs, and bearded dragon. George the Bearded Dragon comes to school with me several days as our class pet. 

 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling and hiking. I have been lucky enough to teach overseas, and lived in Austria for a year after college.
