Community Service Kids Club

Is an action club that helps provide and support those in need in our local and surrounding areas.  Please see attached for more information, along with a permission slip.

Eagle Library Assistants

Library volunteer program. 

Time Frame: Yearlong 

 

First Lego League

Invite only.

Library volunteer program. 

Time Frame: 2 times a month on Wednesdays

 

Great Computer Challenge

For students who are proficient with desktop presentations, graphic design, desktop publishing, Internet scavenger hunts, or video editing. (Students should know how to use Word, Power Point, or various search engines, depending on the category in which they are interested.) New recruits must be in fourth or fifth grade. Interested students will be given a project to complete. These projects will be judged to determine team members for the spring competition. Try-outs in November.

H.E.R.O. (Helping Eagles Respect Everyone) Club

History Club

For history lovers!

Lunch Bunch Book Clubs

Our focus is the Virginia Readers’ Choice selections for the year. We discuss the books (in person and online), do fun activities related to our reading, make video book trailers, and connect with authors.

P.A.W.S. Patrol

Partnering Animals with Students. Volunteerism and instruction on the needs of animals in Isle of Wight County. See Mrs. Lanzalotto and Mrs. Smith for more information.

Time Frame: 2nd Friday of month, starting in January

Safety Patrol

The role of safety patrol is to teach students to direct their peers in safety. Interacting with school traffic, 6th graders receive training in the fundamentals of traffic safety and procedures. Patrollers direct children, not traffic. Patrollers will assist in hallways, bathrooms, buses and crosswalks. Application required.
